I co-founded a mobile product company that was acquired by Shopify. I stayed, became their first VP Product, and spent three years helping build what's now one of the most important commerce platforms on earth.

Since then I've been writing cheques into companies working on things most people say can't be done — the kind of bets that change what's possible.

McNamara Family Investments is my family's own capital. We're here to build huge companies and change the world, not generate returns for LPs.

My background is CS and software. When a founder sends me a paper, I read it. I want to understand what's actually true. The harder the problem, the more interested I get.

I've been the founder nobody believed in yet. That's exactly when the right bet gets made.
